Register all Sprinkler Systems

April 9, 2013 - 8:01pm -- webmaster

The Town Board has adopted a corss connect ordinance in which if a new sprinkler system is installed, it will need to have a backflow preventer installed with it to avoid cross contamination.

If you currently have a sprinkler system in your yard, you need to register it with the Town Hall.

If you are found using a sprinkler system that is not registered with Town Hall, you will be asked to add a backflow preventer even if your sprinkler system had been installed prior to adopting the cross connect ordinance.

Tree Branches

April 6, 2013 - 6:32pm -- webmaster

The Town is generally responsible for the branches of trees overhanging Town property.  If you have branches blown down or hanging and posing a possible threat, please contact us.

If branches are close to a power line, please contact Xcel Energy to trim them, as we are not equipped to handle those situations.
